February!
What a month!
We could hardly fit everything onto the moodboard!
February has gone so quickly for the Mode for… team!
We’ve battled through the storms and got everything done we wanted to achieve…and more!
Here’s what we got up to….
➡️ Tabby & Keri had their monthly day working together, planning all the plans! It even included a brainstorming dog walk…what better way to be working!
➡️ Tabby & Rob spent a weekend recording for a new CD, celebrating the music of Ray Steadman-Allen for what would be his 100th birthday. It featured guest soloists Peter Moore (Trombone) and Tom Nielsen (cornet) and will be available later this year through World of Brass.
➡️ We supported Children’s Mental Health Week at Brass on the Mind.
A huge thank you to Peter Moore, Helen Varley, Toni Durrant and John Barber for their valuable support.
➡️ Tabby visited one of our favourite fun clients ‘The Ice Co’ to deliver more Mental Health First Aid Training to their team – check out The Ice Co’s Winter Olympics videos!
➡️ Returning client Low Carbon had its latest cohort of managers complete Mental Health Awareness Training with us.
➡️ The PERFORM 8-week group has been going strong with only 2 weeks left!
➡️ If you’d like to be in the next cohort starting in April, let us know by popping us an email here and we’ll send you all the details.
➡️ We onboarded three new 1-2-1 coaching clients this month!
Meaning Tabby only has a few slots left for March so get in touch if you’d like to take up this amazing opportunity.
➡️ We started to recieve lovely reviews from people who have read our new book Weddings on the Mind, since it’s release last month
‘so easy to pick up and ready whilst you have a few mins to spare’
‘it’s worth every penny’
Grab your copy here and let us know what you think!
➡️ The new book also had it’s first signing…in Keri’s kitchen…with Arlo watching over to make sure Tabby spelt her name correctly!
➡️ All the Mode for… team, like most of the Brass Banding world, is prepping for the Regional Championships starting next month!
Good luck to every band out there taking part!
➡️ More free music was released as part of Simon Kerwin’s legacy. You can now grab Vivaldi’s Double Cello Concerto (1st Mvt) arrangement for euphonium duet and brass band here and by clicking on Publishing.
➡️ And last but not least….Tabby’s son Oliver turned the grand old age of 18!!!
Love
The Mode for…Team xx
