What a month October was!
Our wonderful Keri has been away on her honeymoon for a few weeks this month….but she’s back now with a husband and new name! It’s been a really productive month of planning events, lots of training and catching up with clients….and also someones birthday!!
See what we got up to…..
We’re delighted to have trained another 30 people in Mental Health First Aid across our clients in North East & London.
Tabby was delighted to be invited to contribute to the conversation around mental health and music on BBC Radio 3 earlier this month. If you missed it and fancy a listen, here is the 3 min extract from the 45 minute show: click here
Tabby also received the news that she passed her Masters in Applied Positive Psychology degree – all of the Mode for…team are extremely proud of her as we know how much time and effort she’s put into this degree. Congratulations Tabby!
We hosted our PERFORM mental health and wellness Workshop for Scottish Brass Band Association, who work with Mode for… to provide subsidised training for member bands. Some really interesting conversations about supporting the mental health of neurodiverse children which Tabby will be exploring and researching to help support bands.
We relaunched our Mode for…Events part of the business this month. Some exciting new events are in place for November including some Suicide First Aid courses and even some Free Webinars. Check them out here, we look forward to you joining us!
We’re offering discounts and even some courses for free – contact us for discount codes
We were delighted to welcome a new member of our team, Seb Williman. Seb hails from Pocklington and is an outstanding musician with a passion for brass bands and the work we do and he has joined the team to help with our passion project Brass on the Mind, which is dedicated to supporting the wellness and mental health of brass band musicians. Welcome to the team Seb!
And of course, not forgetting our main lady’s birthday!
Happy Birthday Tabby!
