A big aim for Mode for… in 2023 is to focus on our visibility, so more people can find out about the fabulous work we are doing and support we are giving. But we need your help!
If you see us more on socials please engage, like and share!
We want to reach and support as many people as possible!

A big annoucement for January was Tabby’s challenge of Climbing Kilimajaro this September!!

Tabby is keen to support as many people as possible with this challenge so is fundraising for not one, but two wonderful causes!
The first cause is the fabulous Cruse Bereavement Support and the second is our very own Brass on the Mind project. Find out more about these organisations and Tabby’s reasons why here!

This month, we’ve trained another 14 people to be Mental Health First Aiders!
A fabulous cohort who we loved training and we know will make amazing MHFA’s!
Here is some feedback from the course;

“Tabby is an excellent instructor. Her experience has inspired me to support other people even when it might seem challenging.Meeting Tabby has given me Hope in the help that is available for Mental Health, and how important it is to be able to also look after ourselves when assisting others. The Course Content gives me a lot of resources and information that I will use to help people around me.Very grateful for this course.”

Speaking of Mental Health First Aiders, we have launched our 2023 fresher dates for the year which you should have recieved an email about!

Tabby’s been out and about this month enjoying lots of different experiences; glow yoga, van gogh, Phil Rosenthal.
Read more about them over on our blog site

It’s been a very team focussed month with a in-person working day for Tabby & Keri, and several fun and productive team meetings!

Tabby had a fabulous morning speaking at the Scottish Brass Band Association youth roadshow, talking all things performance, stress management and mental health.

We can’t thank the SBBA enough for their support of mental health and wellness in brass bands. They are leading the way in the field for brass bands with their continued and consistent work, for which we are so grateful to be a part.

There are so many fabulous things coming over the next few months, with 7 new books on their way and a revamp of one of our previous books, Tabby’s speaking event at the World Happiness Summet in March (in Italy!!) and even more experiences that we love!
So keep up with us over on social media to be the first to find out when things are happening!

Much Love

The Mode for… Team x
